The 24 year old Hip Hop Star from Boston USA, emigrated to the uk and has since used this to his advantage by incorporating the American hiphop foundation coupled with his ghanian roots and Uk exposure to produce a Unique sound which transends race or region.

...Where does the name Octayne come from and what does it mean?...
Octayne, like the chemical can be volatile, and unstable,
But at the same time can do a complete 180 to give you a Laid-back soothing baritone that demands immediate attention.
Octayne simply put is the raw energy you need.
...What does Pressure Pointz mean?...
'PRESSURE POINTZ' is a summary of the trials and tribulation he has encountered in life to date, some from his travels, some from his exposure to life and having to grow up quickly.
More importantly the album deals with the different pressures in life, like relationships, social-economical, personal, psychological, emotional, the list goes on.

Listening to the album its not hard to hear one or two of his Influences, ranging from artists like Gregory Isaacs, Rick James, James Brown, Kool Mo Dee to Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, De La Sol, Tribe Called Quest and Common to name but a few.
