music of all kinds. drumming. reading whatever i can get my hands on. art, my best mediums are pen and ink, pencil, acrylic painting, lettering and logos. starting to learn computer graphics. i've been an active member of the local music scene for a long time. seen some great bands come and go. been in a few of those bands. right now there are some flat out kick ass bands around here. on a pale horse, odium, only, the cassandra disease, and facecage, just to name a few. i am also a big movie buff. everything from old black and whites to current day. that should do it for now kids.
I'd like to meet:
I AM NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEW BANDS UNLESS I KNOW YOU. ALL OTHER BANDS CAN BE FRIENDS ON THE CALOUS PROFILE. ALSO, I DO NOT WANT TO MEET ANY WOMEN WHO AREN'T SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW WHAT "IN A RELATIONSHIP" MEANS. I AM VERY HAPPY AND VERY MUCH IN LOVE (NOT TO MENTION ENGAGED) WITH HEATHER. DEAL WITH IT.ALSO...if he were alive, i'd like to meet led zeppelin's legendary drummer, john bonham. he's the reason why i'm a drummer. i would also like to meet nasa's jim lovell.
Music:
.. all time greatest band is led zeppelin. none better. other bands are black sabbath, pink floyd, soundgarden, tool, clutch, kiss, COC, iron maiden, anthrax, slayer, lynyrd skynyrd to name just a few.
i am a big fan of the old crooners. sinatra, martin, the rat pack, tony bennett, al martino, jerry vale.
i'm also big into jazz. old jazz. not much of the new stuff works for me. thelonius monk, john coltrain, stan getz...it's a long list. buddy rich is one of my huge influences. second only to john bonham. my third favorite type of music is classical. chopin, beethovan, mozart, again a long list. i have a cousin who is a classical composer. he has been nominated for several grammys and has won a couple. he's also been nominated for an oscar twice. he won for the red violin. his name is john corigliano. check him out.
