17 North Parade, The New Catalog Imprint By VP Records, Presents "Reggae Rewind" with ZAP POW Leading Vintage Re-Issue
Now available for the first time on CD and digitally is the self-titled album from the timeless reggae collective known as Zap Pow.
As part of the "Reggae Rewind"series, the 14-track album includes the original version of "Last War," the now famous sample heard in the international anthem "Come Around" by dancehall artist Collie Buddz.
Throughout the 70's ZAP POW worked extensively with many of Jamaica 's most renowned singers including Bob Marley, and is widely credited for launching the solo career of Grammy nominee Beres Hammond.
Fully-loaded with re-issues and rare unreleased tracks now available for the first time on CD and digitally, this new catalog hosts a treasure of 60's, 70's, and 80 roots reggae, vintage dub, and dancehall classics.
