..Max Castor also known as MadMax seeks to spread Caribbean entertainment and lifestyle on a grassroots, as well as commercial level, using music, video, fashion, and online avenues. Motivated by love for music, and strong passion for reggae, MadMax attempts to bridge the gap between audiences of different musical backgrounds, to gain awareness of reggae on multiple stages.Max Castor has a strong educational background earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and being involved in music performance, and production at school for 8 years. He also has several years of experience working on various levels within the music industry. Prior to his first internship, Max Castor worked at Sam Goody Music Stores for over 2 years interacting with consumers on a constant basis. At the end of his sophomore year in College, he interned at indie rock label Tee Pee Records. MadMax then moved on to VP Records where he hone his marketing skills, and established international relationships for 4 years.At VP Records Max Castor served as the Marketing Coordinator. He developed and executed marketing and promotional efforts for artists such as Shaggy, Sean Paul, Elephant Man, Mavado, Wayne Wonder, Lady Saw, and Beres Hammond amongst others. Working at an indie label allowed Max Castor to gain experience in multiple fields. He coordinated video and radio media, street teams, promotional tours, advertising, and events. MadMax played another key role in the marketing department as Video Promotions Manager. All of the artist’s video content distribution from music videos, concerts, documentaries to cable, satellite, online, and mobile outlets was handled by him. He also coordinated all artist video interviews, and was involved in producing video segments for use virally as well as on EPK, and bonus DVD’s.After leaving VP Records March of 2008, Max Castor formed SNYPAA Entertainment together with Max Madness Productions. SNYPAA Entertainment is a natural progression of Max Castor. He works as a consultant on branding, and marketing projects for fashion, and music clients. SNYPAA Entertainment uses digital, viral, and physical distribution system to get music videos placed on key online, and TV outlets internationally. The company is also a distribution channel for dancehall music reaching several DJ’s, and entertainment tastemakers. MadMax also serves as mix-show coordinator for three reggae channels on mobile/online radio station Move Radio. In addition, he organizes, and promotes branding events, as well as tours. Max Madness Productions serves as the music and video creative side of MadMax. On the music production side of Max Madness Productions, beats with a dancehall foundation are created, which fuse with elements of rock, dance, and hip-hop to gain the attention of numerous audiences. On top of music production, Max Madness Productions is also involved with producing online/TV series as well as documentaries centered on reggae but created to introduce or further inform, and captivate the audience to Caribbean culture.After only a few months, SNYPAA Entertainment in addition to Max Madness Productions has proven that it can be a force within the music industry, by providing services for artists such as Mr. Vegas, Machel Montano, Demarco, Richie Spice, Peter Ram, and Etana in a short span. MadMax also assists in the development of several upcoming artists, and album compilation projects providing marketing, as well as A&R consultation. SNYPAA Entertainment with Max Madness Productions has not only maintained, but is constantly developing new relationships throughout the entertainment industry. Max Castor is determined to become a main source for bringing Caribbean music and lifestyle to the forefront, through marketing, promotion, music production, and creative video content.
