Eddie Hall is a New York born percussionist. He has studied with a variety of percussionist. Billy King, Chief Bey, Papo Daddiego, and Dom Um Romão the list goes on. Eddie started honing his recording skills in the early eighties. at The Platinum Factory and Charles Records. doing mostly Soca, R and B and Hip Hop recordings. He also spent a lot of time working with long time friends Vernon Reid, Salaam Remy and Prince Charles Alexander. Has played on tracks for Ricky Martin, Left Eye Lopes and has played the Lion King on Broadway. Eugene Chadbourne from the All Music Guide said the following. “This excellent New York based percussionist has been coming on strong since he began working with ace guitarist Vernon Reid in the mid '90s. A young audience came into contact with his sounds following several 2001 recordings with the late vocalist Lisa Lopesâ€.
