“Got to keep it snarky”
“Since day one, all the Constantine news that’s fit to print”

Birthday: April, 2005

Ahhhh, Greek Speak! Our motto has always been, “You either get it, or you don’t” when it comes to Constantine James Maroulis…and believe me…WE GET IT!!!

On any given day a visit to GS will reveal squeeing and angsting, angsting and squeeing, mixed with a heady amount of SNARK, INTELLIGENT CONVERSATION, and overall LOVE, RESPECT and ADMIRATION for Constantine.

If there is something you would like to know about Const, just ask GS! Our crack, sleuthing, GSI’ers will have the info for you before can say “greekboy”. On many occasions, we’ve uncovered info even before Constantine!!!

Greek Speak has remained a public board in order to promote ‘greekboy’ to the fullest extent. Our calendar shows all pertinent info and appearances. We keep our pictures and videos open to the public. We have added all of the latest technology to our site. We have GS Radio, from which we broadcast cellcerts of Constantine’s gigs to all of the internet peeps who want to hear. Pretty cool, huh?

GS is filled with fun, snarky, intelligent, talented, sweet, generous, sexy peeps…hmmmm…the same qualities we admire in Constantine. Well kids, guess that’s why we’ve been a perfect match for two plus years and running.

You either get it or you don’t!!!

They say things happen for a reason. How could we all have known, that on BW it was really a celebration of talent..Fate if you will. Remember Constantine said in his blog last year, that on BW ..his life began. His real career began, cause he was given the freedom to be who he was in his heart and soul.

Constantine James Maroulis...

chloerose2

There is no one performer who makes me happier, who makes me believe the story, the song or the emotion more than Constantine Maroulis. For me HE is the song. There is really nothing more to say than I love him. His voice gives me joy.

Vicky

Perhaps he first caught your eye on American Idol, where his seductive charisma and velvet voice captured the hearts of millions through his sultry gaze and innovative performances. Or perhaps you discovered him as he strolled the Broadway stage, headlining as Roger in "Rent," enchanting audiences as the sweetly sexy Sammy in "The Wedding Singer," or expertly bringing to life the complex layers of the human experience in the compelling "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris."
Maybe it was at one of his live performances where you suddenly found yourself hopelessly addicted; gazing entranced as his irresistible charm and powerful sensual presence lit up the stage more brilliantly than a four-alarm fire at a fireworks factory.
Or perhaps you are just making his acquaintance now, as he steps into the spotlight in his new recurring role on CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful," shining brightly on our TV screens once again as his star continues to rise.
But no matter by what means he first charmed his way into your life, love him or hate him, there is no denying that the divine Mr. M is packing some seriously powerful mojo. Even years later, it still seems to have an almost mystical hold over those who have fallen for this fascinating man. For better or worse, having once been bewitched you may never quite be able to escape his seductive spell.

The past 2.5 years have been such an exciting journey to share with this amazing performer. He has been there for us to look forward to through weddings, funerals, births. It has been a privilege to be a part of his journey, supporting him in any way that we can. We look forward to good things from and for him. Keep rocking, Constantine. We love you.

I honestly didn't know it was possible to capture the pure sound of someone's live voice and live instrumentals on a recording. They sound like they are playing live right here in my livingroom. I am completely blown away by the brilliance of this sound.

Special K

OMG...C doing theater is just absolutely amazing. He just blew me away when he did Brel. I loved the Wedding Singer too, but Brel was just...WOW... He SOOOO belongs on stage and doing theater...He is just a natural on the Broadway/off-Broadway stage(s)

con'sandy

There's so much versatility and the music is fucking REAL!!!!! I cannot stress that enough!!! In a world of over processed, pasteurized cheese in a can, this CD is the antidote!!

C4C

I just realized that the reason I loved MR the most is because I could hear C's clear, beautiful, rich voice. Now, I can hear it on all of the other songs, also. I love the new ones - SL, Sister, Child and Fading Into You. Can't choose.

I am so happy for and proud of Constantine!! He has done everything he can to win the biggest pot. In poker, you want to go "all in" with the best hand possible. I believe he has done this, in spades!

NewCarolina

it's real, it's perfect...it's soooooo Constantine...eclectic, strong hooks, danceable, a blast, and yet completely cohesive....and mostly Constantine's voice just takes my breath away...oohhhh the vibrato...AWESOME!!! Nothing better...nothing even close to compares.

Vicky On opening Night of Brel

But in a word: Constantine was magnifique. He transcended to an entirely new level this evening, showing us reserves of talent only barely hinted at before, infused with joy and tears, laughter and pain. And it was wonderful.

Bravo, my dear C. Bravo.

The voice, the brain, the mfhair...it all comes together in an amazing way, and keeps me endlessly entertained!! Add in the fans, friendships made, rawking good times, and top it all off with an unstoppable FA Band; it's irresistible.

HystericalBlindness

Notes For Successful Constantine Interaction

As some of you are aware, I was blessed to meet briefly with Constantine during the L.A. CD release party. Although my speech and hearing remained intact at that time, I tragically was unable to visualize The Pretty as the Connie Mojo resulted in my temporary hysterical blindness.

Upon deeper reflection, I realize I was partially responsible for this tragedy because I went in unprepared! Thus, I have a few tips for those fortunate co-wives who still have time to learn from my mistakes before their chance to meet our Constantine:

1. Set your Mojo shield to at least 50%. You don't want to block out the warm buzz of the Mojo all together, but you don't want to be stricken deaf, dumb, and/or blind, either.

2. Practice what you want to say. Repeat it over and over. Concentrate on the movement of your mouth as you speak the words since you may need to rely on "muscle memory" at the necessary moment. Over-achievers may want to write the words on a 5X7 card as a last minute reference aid.

3. Practice listening skills. You may wish to relate to your co-wives any responses from Constantine (be they clever, adorkable, or snarky) and thus, you must be able to actually hear what he says and mentally "record" it into your memory bank.

4. Practice focusing your eyes. I cannot stress this exercise enough as it was my personal downfall. Do not, I repeat, do NOT attempt to go straight for the eyes unless you are unusually skilled. This is an advanced move! I know others have been successful, but beginner's luck may have been at play. Thus, I suggest a more gradual approach. Begin by focusing on an innocuous object such as a piece of lint on Con's collar. Once you achieve eye focus, slowly train your eyes toward the hair, mouth, nose, and finally, the eyes. If the eye-fuck tractor beams pull you in at this point, at least you will have seen most of his face.

5. There is no direct evidence, however, it is suspected that the Con Mojo may have the power to cause incontinence. Although such an event is unlikely, I suggest a small mini-pad of some sort. It never hurts to be prepared.

I hope no one minds my giving these notes. I would spare as many of you as possible from my own ordeal. Therefore, go forth now with CONfidence as you behold the greek god!

The Boy entertains me.

kaykohl

Every word is understood, every syllable is heard. The vocals are clear and crisp. This Cd is wow. I love it.

Twickenham

I don't know why it always takes me by surprise the level of emotional vulnerability he shows in his art. This is his voice, his signature style - heartbreakingly vulnerable. He showed this in TB&TB last week, he showed this (in spades) in Brel, he even showed flashes in what I saw of TWS... and in his music. Oh.my. Every word has meaning, every syllable heartfelt. No wonder he's exausted after a concert. He gets me every time
