If I gave to you, two angels painted in blue, would you bring me to your shore?

About Me

I have a hard time filling these out when nothing is wrong. Have you ever noticed that is is much easier to be creative when you are sad? I have been putting off rewriting my myspace page because I'm content. I figured that I wouldn't have anything to say if I wasn't depressed. So I sat around and waited to get sad, and I waited and I waited.... Slowly it began to dawn on me that I may just have to live with being content, as much as it starves the starving artist in me.

My Interests

I am interested in learning anything that will not be of any practical value to me. I AM A GEEK I am in love with music. I could spend days just playing my guitars, thinking about playing my guitar's and talking about it. I can't walk by any stringed instrument without a really strong desire to reach out and pick it up, I recenty got stuck playing a ukulele for about 5 hours (I don't know how to play one but my uncle had it and I couldn't put it down, I actually was starting to sound pretty damn good if I do say so)
I am a pretty good photographer. Some people tell me that i am great but I see to many things in my pictures that I am not happy with.
I am a great cook, anything Italian or Asian or fusion is right up my alley. Just dont ask for any good southern cooking because I just can't seem to pull it off???
I AM A SMARTASS

I'd like to meet:

I just moved to the Greenville SC area and I don't know anyone.I would like to meet some musician's,
some artists,
some photographers,
maybe some writers,
and film makers, some geeksSome people with kids,
some people without kids,
some sad people,
some jaded people,
some people with too much angst.
some gay people
and some straight people
And then for added interest one or two normal average people. Edit your Friend's list with Top Friends Generator of MyWackoSpace.com

Music:

I just got a working record player, and made a few trips to the thrift store. It is so easy to get great classical music for nothing. I have been listening to tons of Rachmaninoff, Greig, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Bach, Segovia and Company. I also got some really cool American folk songs performed by Carl Sandburg, and some Simon and Garfunkel, and Henry Mancini
Of course there are other favorites like all of the music projects I have been involved in... Rabbits Revenge and Past Eve and last but not least Will's Wild YearsBut then there are the favorites off my ipod. The violet burning, Bjork, The Cranes, Six by Seven, The Postal Service, The Gravity Show, Living with eating Disorders (colt), Aphex Twin, British Sea Power, Sigur Rus, Smashing Pumpkins, Regina Spektor, Radiohead, Interpol, The Prayer Chain, Snow Patrol, U2 and MANY MANY more...
