DJ Short-e, a New Yorker, made the same decision his father made years earlier, he would venture away from home on a quest for grander opportunities. In 1996, Short-e quicky became a popular DJ and party promoter. Throughout the years, Short-e has performed at some of the hottest clubs in New York and Florida. He has also worked with the DJ’s who inspired him from the beginning, such as-Funk Master Flex, DJ Clue, Kid Capri, DJ Craze and DJ Khaled. With continued success in the club industry, doors to other opportunities quickly opened. He became part owner of a nightclub called Rain Lounge, and hosted several celebrity parties for Super Bowl XXXV in Tampa. Short-e has been successful in every nightclub endeavor he has embarked upon, including: The Hard Rock, The Manor, Rain, Skye, Blue Martini, Malio's, Headliners, Whiskey Park, The Grand, Lotus & more! The industry would later embrace Short-e’s creativity by supporting his television show (The Short-e Show) that highlights the entertainment industry. The show features exclusive events, artist interviews, music videos, reality and even some comedy. Short-e has interviewed stars like Ne-Yo, Pharrell, Yung Joc, Rick Ross, Pitbull, T-Pain and more. Short-e has further expanded his music outreach when he founded his own Entertainment company called Hot4Eva' and produced his first artist, V.S. (Verbal Science) with his debut album, “In Da Labâ€. In 2006 Short-e & Verbal Science performed their lead single “Whatchu Ridin On?†at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The performance was praised by local media and the track went onto win local radio competitions. The music video for the track includes cameos by Paul Wall, Mike Jones, T-Pain, Tony Yayo & Jacob the Jeweler. Last but certainly not least, "Whatchu Ridin On?" also advanced to the FINALS in a nation wide music video contest which was sponsored by Sony/BMG and Clear Channel Radio. On another note, T-Mobile, the cell phone giant, has produced a national internal video which highlights "A Day In The Life Of Short-e" using his Sidekick 3 cell phone. Short-e’s future plans are to continue to DJ at the world’s hottest clubs and lounges, while pursuing his ultimate goals of landing a major deal for his TV/Radio show and Record label. When it comes to the community, Short-e enjoys donating his time and services to help non-profit organizations like Everyone's Youth United, which helps the youth and the needy. Most recently, Short-e has joined New York's Power 105.1FM and has also launched his TV show on The Manhattan Network. Last but not least, Short-e’s online presence has just catapulted after his YOUTUBE passed the 1,000,000+ views mark! By utilizing his skills, resources and experience, Short-e will surely remain creative and productive for years to come!
