Taking the subject of human condition, Clara diebler photography captures intimity moments, private, typically of the vulnerable, the fatalist and the fragile.
Sometimes she juxtaposes the images whit architectural references, impersonal yet romantic.
She bodies forth an aesthetic that is universal and relative whiles deriving heavely from her own worldvieuw; a worldvieuw that is nostalgic and melancolic, brutal and beautiful at the same time.
Though rendered in a photographical idium, the work has a tactile quality. It is found in the intentional crudly applied layer of varnish which finalises and give closure to the artistic project.
