Back in the early 90s, something called emo had sprung from the hardcore scene. At the time, this form of music was acceptable and somewhat creative. Over the years, it became more than just a form of music - it had influenced a line of fashion that threatened every punk-related scene possible.
Jet black hair (usually medium-long and combed over to one side), eye-liner, pyramid-stud belts, gauged ears, Saucony's, an elitist attitude about themselves and their "sick music with brutal breakdowns", shirts that are two sizes too small, and various phrases such as "brah" and "bring the mosh" were only a few of the maniacal creations that had spawned from this travesty.
Yet this alone does not fully contribute to the destruction left in the wake of this maddness. It is the age of DIGITAL CAMERAS and angsty adolescents that need to project an image to the world that quite frankly the world doesn't give a flaming shit about. This all great, but it's the explotation that's our greatest enemy.
And thus, an aryan race of insecure teenagers was born.
