Founded in December 2006 by former co-owner of Fueled By Ramen Records Vinnie Fiorello, and former Fueled By Ramen office manager Kyle Baker. The two, having left Fueled by Ramen at the same time, decided they would like to continue to work together on projects they mutually enjoyed.
