Bad things : Peppers, celery, insomnia, sitting with my back to doors, people touching my neck, people poking me in the side and I hate shirts. Mike leigh is a genius, particualrly abigails party, nuts in may and life is sweet. Clue, a new leaf, partymonster, city of god, ghost world, fight club, y tu mama tambien, run lola run, the craft, weird science, the goonies, romancing the stone and jewel of the nile, the man with two brains, dancer in the dark, jurassic park, the usual suspects. Plus numerous 80's 'comedies', bad teen horror films and predictably most of tim burton's back catalogue.
Television is great. I Particularly enjoy... Buffy, angel, spaced, peep show, futurama, blackadder, C4 news, family guy, come dine with me, natural history and wildlife documentaries, oh and documentaries in general. Doctor who, green wing, music channels, lost, the ghost squad, doctors and most reality tv crap manages to suck me in... not too mention 'lifestyle programming', formula one, champ car series etc, athletics and my recent unhealthy penchant for american crime dramas! CSI and without a trace seem to reel me in and I hate them for it.
His dark materials trilogy.The buddha of suburbia, gabriels gift, harry potter, life on air, books, baguettes and bedbugs, fear and loathing, the wimbledon poisoner, lost worlds, enid blyton's adventure series. Also a big fan of books with lists and facts, particularly the guinness world records & book of hit singles. Wildlife, conservation & animal care manuals. Oh and I've always enjoyed an atlas.
