Hello All !
AnimAte's geographical roots lie in Silesia, Poland. The
band was assembled at the end of August '05, although the idea for the
band dates back to a couple of months before that.
The spark which set the fire was the fact that AnimAte's rhythm section - Przemek (b) and Sebastian (dr) - one day decided to put together a band which would be based on their shared musical language and common vision.
Right after Marcin(gtr) joined AnimAte's ranks, the trio doubled the efforts to solve
logistic problems and finally found a rehearsal space. It was Marcin's
arrival which truly proved to be a breakthrough: without him the whole
affair would surely have proven to be just a flash in the pan.
Finding
a guitar player of suitable technique, the right ideas and proportional
level of commitment never appeared easy to Przemek and Sebastian, and
yet it all went surprisingly smoothly and quickly.
As for the long-desired rehearsal space, the band managed to
find a great place in Bedzin - a tram depot, of all places! - and they
animatedly started to practise.
