About Me

I am a human being when I don't play drums.

I play drums most of the time...

My name is joantoni and I am a London based drummer...

I have a band, SATELLITES , a psychedelic band somewhere in between rock and mediterranian flavoured music. We have been together over 12 years and released 2 albums and 3 eps, and we have hundreds of songs recorded waiting for someone to release them. And more coming... and I also play drums with loads of other different people.

I have played in studio and on stage with many many many beatiful musicians and human beings, you can check them out if you click in my other my space .In the past years I have been lucky enough to play in many different countries (specially Europe). I'd love to go and visit anywhere in Africa, Southamerica, Asia or New Zealand. If you know any trick to travel for free, just tell me.

My Interests

Music, all kinds of music, specially roots music, drums, drumming, good food, good turkish food, good indian food, good mallorcan food, good spanish food, some good italian food aswell everynow and then, cooking (not as often as i'd like), good wine, horticulture, films... i like talking to people in places where music is not louder than my voice; in the other hand, i love music venues, Bull&Gate sort of venue, in fact i like any music venue that sounds good (i dont know that many of them...)

i dislike people who talk in music venues, i also dislike music festivals, superstores, camden market, overcrowded places in general, supertrendy clubs, NME, oldstreet-electro...

I have much respect for people who work making things with their own hands, i like honest people, i like people that know why they do what they do.

i dont' really like my space.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with the same interests i guess... anyone really...

Talk to me.

Drummers we talk, sometimes.

Please don't add me randomly.
