music - playing it, listening to it. books- kerouac, john kennedy toole...anything that fills that hole in my mind and day. pubs-most recently darts (or 'arras'..take your pick). watching films- dont do it enough anymore. plastic bags in trees, fish in small ponds, what people really think, moody waiters (brilliant), airports/train stations/ motorway service stations, hunkering, cricket, the sea, most recently i've discovered the joy of plants (its all downhill from here), london town and its history, the english countryside, walking the grand union canal, pining for accordions, argyle socks, obnoxious socks and just socks in general are ace.

Withnail and I is the best film ever made, Casablanca, The Third Man, Nightmare Before Christmas, Spinal Tap, Festival Express, Fear and Loathing, 2001 Space Odyssey, Dazed and Confused, Dr Strangelove, Pi, Sideways, Waking Life, Clerks, The Big Blue...anything that throws substance first and style second.
