I am a registered nurse , wife, and mother to 7 wonderful kids. Two of my kids have special needs , my 13 year old son has tuberous sclerosis and has autism as a result. The doctors say it is just a matter of time and my son as we know him will be no more. He is slowly losing his abilities and his memory, my daughter is a survivor of a congenital heart defect called cortriatriatum which was repaired around her first birthday. She is followed by a cardiologist in london ontario, she also has cerebral palsy and does not speak very well , she can make some sounds and uses sign language to communicate. She is now learning to walk with a walker.We are truly blessed to have them in our lives, she is 4 years old. We are taking one day at a time
