About Me

Area of study: Native Americans of the Northwest Coast- more specifically the Chinook and Clastop tribes that surround the mouth of the Columbia River. They impact Oregon's history more than people really think. Early shipwrecks in the "Pacific Graveyard" (Where the Columbia River flows into the Pacific Ocean) Studying the Indian language of Chinook, (which is what the above sentance is in)loves: hiking, camping, swimming in natural waters, bodyboarding- but i really want to learn how to surf this summer!, going to the coast (big suprise) fishing (i'm a catch and release kind of gal) love old things, collect clothes from 1860's to 1940's (with emphasis on victorian and 20s style) history, video games (old school nintendo!) haunted or abandoned (historical) places, photography, music, good beers, animal rights, Indian rights, historical preservation...I do not believe in "top friends" - therefore please note that I completely randomize it and change it often so no one feels left out. :) IT IS COMPLETELY RANDOM!

So much pleasure in the drug ritual, so little pleasure in all else.  To come to one's senses - to let the mind clench - and lo, the myriad abstract guardians of the clenching have already arisen...

Today the restaurant was filled with warmth, a spirit of caring.  The food was just right and the service was prompt.  Snow began to fall.  Parents laughed with their children.  Ha...

This idiotic notion that one should love the other customers. Love here really only means: agree, for the time being, not to attack.  People pretend, though, that each customer is an irreplaceabl...

Each day I walk to Wendy's.  As I approach, especially crossing the parking lot, I begin to feel powerfully ordinary.  I feel like I am who I have always been, and like I'm going somwhere to...
