The war of left and right

About Me

My first name's almost always first in an alphabetical list.We live in a sick culture. Sick, but not yet dying. What some of us now know as a fear-inducing, paranoia-struck, aderall-fueled kamikaze of information and noise is strongly in need of a supporting gesture, a soothing kiss, or a liberating embrace.I am working towards a better life, attempting to escape the confines of a culture slowly withering into its own vacuous ignorance. By freeing myself from these constraints, I can approach the world with open arms and open heart, my emotional core filled with life in all of its liberated vibrancy.I feel life.

My Interests

The mysteries of life, art, culture, music (listening/playing/writing), performance (acting/music/life). film, philosophy, creative writing/thinking, meditation (vipassana, shamatha-vipashayna, lojong), puppydogs and kittykats, food and beverage (watermelon), watermelon-seed-spitting-contests, consciousness/awareness, honesty, virtue, spearmint chewing gum, impulsiveness

Socratic throwback

An ideal society should be strongly rooted in a humanistic embrace of the universal Socratic notions of the good, the true, and the beautiful. This embrace should utilize a strict adherence to these n...

To Witness

The duality of my existence as human's is a dynamic, but somehow comedic, unfolding of two identities competing for control over my consciousness. No, I am not not implying that I a...

Don't you just love being evil? It's almost better than volunteering at a homeless shelter.

You may say I'm a dreamer....

The haunting nature of the past seems to have an awkward ebb and flow. One minute all of the regrets and demons appear purged, then next thing you know, there they are, creeping into your thoughts, dr...

Them crazy postmodernists are at it again

Rantageous Examination

In delving into the "truths" of this dimensional slice of the pie we find ourselves in, challenges are bound to arise. A certain magnetic/energetic pull from one direction might contradict an emotiona...

Evolution seems to be the new battleground, an area for the merging of conventional and postconventional, scientific and spritual, physical and metaphysical. The scientists argue in their naturalistic...
