About Me

Tracy Anne Collins, from the early age of 10, undertook dance lessons where she impressed her teachers with her natural ability to dance. She grew up with a household full of music and a father who was a great musician. Tracy’s father, who died when she was 15 years old, influenced her to have a love for music. She had the luxury of being a true natural performer. Tracy attended Schaumburg High School and danced on the varsity dance team where she had the experience to choreograph many routines. She trained in dance styles such as Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, and Hip Hop. She has danced with many dance companies around the Chicago area. Tracy made television appearances and competed in compitions with many of the dance companies she has performed with. Tracy played guitar for two years and then found a new love for singing. The young and talented dancer then attended Harper College in Palatine, IL, where she studied Dance and Communications. Tracy was nominated and then chosen for the Harper College Dance team’s President where she influenced many students to dance just like her. Tracy has also done many modeling jobs including tradeshows, print work, and was given the title of Chicago’s Soak magazine cover girl of the second issue ever made. Following her years of experience with modeling, Tracy was picked out of over hundreds of females to be featured in a rap music video by Atlantic Record’s recording artist Twista’s, song Overnight Celebrity. Another chapter began to unfold in Tracy’s life. She wanted to take singing to a new level and took vocal lessons at Anderson Musik School in Northbrook, IL, where she also impressed her vocal coach of her natural singing ability. After a couple years of training, Tracy sang the national anthem for an International Paintball tournament and continued to sing at karaoke events, which became an absolute favorite past time of hers. Tracy picked up another opportunity back-up dancing and choreographing (and an alternate singer for hit single “Where Are You”) for an up and coming artist who goes by the name of J.Roman (formally lead singer of Vi3 signed to MCA Records). As a performer with J.Roman, Tracy has performed with artists such as Dream, Boys II Men, Brian McKnight, and was also hand picked to perform on select dates on the Mariah Carey “Charm Bracelet” world tour. In 2004, Tracy auditioned for the ABC Family’s “Dance Fever” dance competition TV show starring M.C. Hammer, Carmen Electra, and Jaime King. She then made the semifinals and flew to Las Vegas, NV to compete on the show. In 2005, she auditioned for MTV's "Making the Band" and made it to the final 5 girls left in Minneapolis. Tracy is an alumni of Northeastern Illinois University and continues to strengthen her dancing and singing abilities and is now working with several producers laying down vocals on tracks and is a dancer for the Chicago Shamrox (national lacross league). With an ever growing desire to expand her horizons, Tracy will continue to achieve her biggest dreams. Her talent, star quality, and goal-oriented personality will continue to unfold many new chapters in the future of her life.
