About Me

____________________________________________________________ ____ MR. SENTI......This is who I am,I am ??(BIG MAN TING) years of age. I was born at University Hospital between Mona & Papine in Kingston Jamaica. In time I moved to the Red Hills side of town where I resided until I was 8 years old. While living here, I hung out in surrounding areas such as White Hall, Aki walk, Euenden, & Marvaly. I watched artists record dubplates for sound Systems & from then on I was in love with music. I worked at it over & over until I got It right. From then on I became a Lyricist, Composer and Performer (live and recording). As a performer I am a DJ/Rapper. A DJ/Rapper is a performer who is able to “ride” a rhythm, in other words, the utterance of lyrics of poetry in time/sync to the beat of the rhythm of a composition. I began writing and composing in 1996. My very first composition was entitled “Badman from Weah Back When”.From 1997 to 2001 I was in a group which I formed back in the summer of 1996. The name of this group was called “The Warr Zone Krew”. The group started with myself & another by the name of Benji. While at school, I engaged in competition with another DJ/Rapper by the name of 5th Element. He and I use to test our skill to see how good we were at counteracting(Lyrical Battle) each others songs. He would in time join the krew.Over the passage of time we took the city & state that we resided in by storm. Building up a strong rep in city after city with the raw dancehall style of music that we had. After a while, we stopped doing local talent shows and began appearing as special guests on stage shows in the area. We also opened shows for household names like Buju Banton, Freddie Macgreggor, Marcia Griffiths, Baby Cham , Chico, Mr. Vegas, Sanchez and many more…On July 14th 2001 I did my last show with The Warr Zone Krew. I decided that I Would take my career to greater heights. As I took some time to reflect on the past Events, I tried to think of what I could do to better myself as a solo entertainer. I Spent even more time watching the artist which inspired me to become a musician (Bounty Killer) and listened to the way he said every word different from the next and Applied it to my own music. As a solo artist now on my own, I have had the privilege of gaining more experience As a stage performer and in the recording studio. I have opened events for Bounty Killer Vybez Kartel, Chuck fender & Anthony cruz. I got a good reception from the crowd at All these events. The other thing I worked on was my versatility so that I could appear On a wider range of events. My love for roots and culture led me to getting more involved In that style of music.I now consider myself a well rounded artist that can just about fit into any Genre of music. Since my transition from just dancehall to hip-hop & Culture , I found myself attracting An even wider audience which landed me on events with Sizzla Kolanji, Admiral Tibet & Everton Blender In Colorado, North Carolina & Florida. As a result also of my transition, I Was invited to perform a cross-over song at an import circuit in West Philadelphia that I did with a duo from New York City Called the Major League Hustlaz. The tittle of the song is “Make Moves”.As of today, my past experiences have prepared me for any event set to receive me in the Future. I am able to do any kind of music today because of my experience. Presently I am A solo performer looking for management. I’m also composing material for my album. I intend To release it in the reggae, hip-hop & rap market. With that, I say here I am today. Still doing what I know how to do best and giving thanks and praise to the most high Jah Rastafari. Always remembering to hold the faith and never give up. That is my motto in life. That is who I am MR.SENTI____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ __

Emperor Haile Selassie I, was Emperor from 1930-1974. He is the religious symbol for God incarnate among the Rastafari movement.=THE RASTAFARIANS' ATTITUDE TOWARD HAILE SELASSIE I=Many Rastafarians say that they know Haile Selassie I is God, and therefore do not need to believe it. Belief to them implies doubt, and they claim to have no doubts about the divinity. In the early days of the movement, he was seen as a symbol of black pride, and as a king for African people. The first Rastafarian to appear in front of a court was Leonard Howell, who was charged with sedition against the state of Jamaica, and its King George V. Howell declared himself a loyal subject, not of the king of England, but of Haile Selassie I going to plead in front of the League of Nations, and then being rejected by them, confirmed their belief in his greatness. For them, the nations of Babylon, in reference to the ancient biblicial place, turned their back on the returned messiah and the antichrist. The Emperor's restoration to power in 1941 strengthened the rastafarian faith that he was almighty God.They also called him "Jah Rastafari Selassie I," affectionately Jah Jah. They are very proud of knowing and declaring that he is their God. They were never worried by Halie Selassie never claiming to be God, saying that the real God would never claim to be so just get wordly acclaim and power. They believed that marijuana brings them closer to God, and will always bless the pipes they communally smoke in the name of Haile Selassie I (pronouncing the Roman numeral that indicates "the first" as the word 'I", that being the first person pronoun), thus emphasing the personal relationship they have with the Emperor Haile Selassie I. They believe Haile Selassie I will one day call the judgement, calling the righteous and the faithful to live with him for ever in Holy Mount Zion, said to be placed in Africa. Some Rastafarians believe that Halie Selassie I is still alive, and that his purported death was part of a conspiracy to discredit their religion. In addition to being a political and historic figure, Haile Selassie I has become a popular culture symbol through the Rastafarian movment. Many Rastas are concerned that the world does not see Haile Selassi in a positive light.=A QUOTE FROM HAILE SELASSIE I="A house built on granite and strong foundations, not even the onslaught of pouring rain, gushing torrents and strong winds will be able to pull down. Some people have written the story of my life representing as truth what in fact derives from ignorance, error or envy; but cannot shake the truth from its place, even if they attempt to make others believe it." - Preface to My Life and Ethiopia's Progress, Autobiography of H.M. Selassie I (English translation)…

Sounds Like: NO OTHER:... Final Thoughts From General Nikki X as dedicated to General Malik X:"That until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned: That until there are no longer first-class and second class citizens of any nation; that until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes; That until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race; That until that day, the dream of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain but a fleeting illusion, to be pursued but never attained." - English Translation of 1968 Speech delivered to the United Nations, and popularised in a song called War by Bob Marley…There you have the story of Emperor Haile Selassie I. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------- ========================================================== MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK, MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK, MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK, MUZIK,MUMUZIK,ZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK, MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK,MUZIK, Bob Marley - Could You Be Loved
