After a long break on and off side projects Illegal Fate has finally reformed in Akron, OH. The alternative rock band with a sound that has been compared to Breaking Benjamin, Bowling for Soup, and the Riddlin Kids is fronted by charismatic front man/songwriter Eric O’Connell. Despite the extensive stage experience of the band Illegal Fate is primarily focusing on recording a polished full-length album of it’s dynamic, punchy, and catchy-as-hell tunes at this time with hopes of radio airplay. The band gained much experience from a live on-air interview at one of Cleveland’s premier rock stations WMMS in 2004. They have opened up for bands such as The Misfits, The Toasters, Off By One, and Tantric which has contributed to much of their success in the local scene.
