My Interests

Reading, politics, basketball, and travel.

I'd like to meet:

Everyone...but especially....Diana Taurasi and Cappie Pondexter

Music:

My number one musical interest right now is my nephew Johnny Cooper...ya'll gotta check him out.

Movies:

Everything is Illuminated, V for Vendetta (when I am feeling particularly revolutionary), Serenity, Mansfield Park, Pride and Prejudice (the nine hour version, of course), and Slither.

Television:

Keith Olbermann, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, Lost, Deep Space Nine, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Dr. Who...I guess I am a political girly nerd. I didn't know that until I typed it out...wow.

Books:

I read just about anything...seriously. Pick a genre, and I have probably read something from it.

Heroes:

Any person that stands up for what she/he believes. A person that continues to struggle against the odds not caring about the outcome, but cares about the fight. Those are the kind of people I admire.
