Any and everything related to creole folk, mulatto, mixed-race, muli-ethnic people. The "GENS DE COULEUR LIBRE", or the free people of color back in the slave days. I especially love me some mulatto's!Check out www.mixedfolks.com, a website for multiracial heritage!Shout out to "Eve's Bayou", "Queen", "School Daze" and "The Feast of all Saints" movies.
I try to think positive, so the people I want to meet who are still alive I will meet!!! I would have like to have met: Dorothy Dandridge, Billie Holiday, and Josephine Baker.

I need some time for this one........ I am a big "THEATER GEEK" (not to be confused w a STAGE TECH GEEK, HAHA), so lets talk about that instead!!! The best-est musical of all time is DREAMGIRLS!!!!!My other fav's : The Lion King, The Life, Aida, SideShow, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Wild Party, Chess, Aint Misbehavin, Chicago, Hair, and Rent (RENT actually almost tied w Dreamgirls, but my "sistah's" took 1st place!! ).Some honorable mentions because I love the music: Jekyll and Hyde, Smoky Joes Cafe, Sophisticated Ladies, and Sweet Charity!!!
I'm cheap so I only have basic cable.......UPN is the "least fuzziest" of my 5 channels! America's Next Top Model is at the top of my list. It used to be America's Next Top Model, but now its all about Ugly BettyHalf and Half, Girlfriends, Will and Grace, and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Its all about the reruns BAYBEE: Married w Children, The Nanny, Golden Girls, Living Single, Martin, In Living Color, 227, The Cosby Show, Old Old school 90210, Models Inc, (don't laugh and.... Lifetime's "Anyday Now" :), we must not forget OG cartoons.... Jem and the Holograms, Josie and the Pussycats, Smurfs, Muppet Babies and Peewee's Playhouse. However my favorite show of all time ..... Sex and the City !!!!
Yes, I am a very avid reader of anything containing juicy gossip! My favorite every-day reads are the nutrition facts and carb counters.... I'm more of an autobiography/biography type of gal, I love almost all biographies I have read thus far, however I am drawing a blank right now.... but the only books that come to mind are: "CUNT" and "Fast Food Nation" ( which I am still browsing ) The Catcher and the Rye, Not w/out my Daughter, Waiting to Exhale, The Color Purple, and everything written by Eric Jerome Dickey and Terry McMillian. What I need to finish reading is "The South Beach Diet", which in my opinion is a very good read as well.
I have a bit of a collection, as you can see. I am a very strong believer in girl power. On the silly side I love: Super Cool Females, Female Villians, or gals who kick @ss!On a serious note, my only real hero's are: my beautiful mother, and my equally stunning sister Mercy; my neice SASHA and Nephew HASANI; My extraordinary aunties, and RIP ( 01/15/1915 - 07/07/2005 ) Claire "Memere" Racine!!!PS- Don't forget about Marley...
