I am here for Friends

About Me

Well, I don't really give a rats....Those of you who know me, KNOW ME! So I don't think you need any enlightening. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Interests, eh? That's an interesting one. I suppose I could put down a list, but that seems dull somehow. I love traveling, seeing new things, sniffing the air, meeting new people, rain. I love to cook and bake and feed people, but I don't wanna do the washing up! I love playing ultimate frisbee, going to tournaments and seeing the same familiar faces and meeting new ones. I love to dance, to shake my cupcakes to a deep and soulful beat, until I can no longer stand. I love skiing and hiking and camping and I'm making a list here.....so I'll stop.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who's interesting to talk to, who makes me laugh, who loves life...

Music:

Hmmm, where to start... Tiga has some wicked tunes. Any of the Fabric or Afterdark CD's are sure to be excellent. Gat Decor's Kickin' in the Beat always makes me move. Faithless, Tony Humphries, Stone Roses, Shane and Greg (aka Fish Go Deep), DJ Shaddow, Too Many DJ's, Meat Katie, Coldplay, The Killers, Keane, Athlete, Sunscream's Perfect Motion is possible one of the best dance tracks from the 90's, Scissor Sisters, Chemical Brothers (hold tight london and surface to air,= spine tingles), Groove Armada, Mylo, Basement Jaxx, Orbital (live a glastonbury, wicked!), Gorillaz, U2, REM, Radiohead, Bjork, Tears for Fears, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Brian Eno, Holst, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, Aaron Copeland, Dvorak,The Beach Boys, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Mint Royale, The Cure, Louis Armstrong, Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Nick Warren, Garbage, Kruder and Dorfmeister.....I've gotta stop somewhere!

Movies:

Monty Python-The Holy Grail, Run Lola Run, The Downfall, Donnie Darko, Dead Poet Society, (any movie starting with D...) City of Lost Children, Match Point, Amelie, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Reality Bites, Garden State, American Beauty, Shawshank Redemption, The Graduate, The Breakfast Club, The Princess Bride, Pretty Woman, Room with a View, Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, The Odd Couple, About a Boy, Tristan and Isolde, Gattaca, Calendar Girls, Waking Ned Divine, just the tip of the iceberg.

Television:

Banned for the summer!

Books:

Currently reading Ian Rankin's Inspector Rebus books, ah, fabulous!! Perfume (what the...?), Fear and Loathing..., A Wrinkle in Time, A Severed Wasp, Death by Cappuccino..., any Agatha Christie, Heat magazine on a lazy Sunday for all the latest...

Heroes:

Be your own.

Home town meets New town

A "walla walla" scene (in a movie) is one in which extras pretend to be talking in the background...when they say "walla walla" it looks like they're actually having a conversation.
