Music! As in classic rock, acoustic blues, British blues, totally random new music, and other utterly random genres... Movies! As in good ones. I like comics too. They're good. Debating politics is an interest I suppose, though I really do hate politics in all its forms. Video games, too! Quantum and astrophysics, a few other things too... I always have a hard time filling these things out....
People who actually find this profile interesting.
I guess I mentioned the genres in the Interests category. Favorite music makers are the Beatles, Son House, Cream, The White Stripes, The Cars, Hendrix, The Who, Skip James, The White Stripes, Dylan, The Animals, The Creation, and I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two of my favorites.
Ahh, movies. I love movies. Pulp Fiction, Eraserhead, Star Wars, Kill Bill, Raging Bull, Clerks and the like, anything by Charlie Kaufman, The King of Comedy, Oldboy, City of God, Werner Hertzog's Nosferatu (that's from the 70's, mind you), Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, The Kids are Alright, Brazil, Blue Velvet, The Elephant Man, Wild at Heart, Mulholland Dr. (yes, yes, I love David Lynch), City of Lost Children, Network, Advent Children, Raiders of the Lost Ark, anything with zombies, Ghost World, Wonderboys, The Godfather 1 & 2, The Third Man, Brazil, Reservoir Dogs, Dr. Strangelove, A Clockwork Orange, the Evil Dead trilogy, Trainspotting, Fight Club, The Adventures of Baron Muchausen, the Monty Python flicks, 12 Monkeys, Fargo, Blood Simple, Shaolin Soccer, and TONS of others that I'm leaving out.
I don't watch much TV, so this list will be fairly short: The Sopranos, Adult Swim, Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Daily Show, Cowboy Bebop, and Reno 911. I think that's about it... old Simpsons and Seinfeld reruns too of course, but, really, that goes without saying.
Ooo! I just read 100 Years of Solitude, and Christ man, that is one mighty-good book. It's now tied for my favorite book of all time. The Life and Opinions of Tristam Shandy, Gentleman is the book it is tied with, and I recommend that anyone who likes reading read at least a few chapters of it. Naked Lunch is a hell of a book. The Thrawn Trilogy is quite cool. I don't read much fiction unless it's in comic form... EVERYONE must read Watchmen though! Preacher, too. Dark Knight Returns, The Killing Joke, V for Vendetta, Earth X, Sandman, and The Long Halloween are also quite good. Mostly I read non-fiction stuff about science or history or some such nonsense. Another one everyone should read is The People's History of the United States of America, but I think a lot of you would already know that by now.
