Influences: Love bluegrass, blues and some country/country rock.Banjo influences.... Don Reno, Earl of course, J D Crowe, Ralph Stanley, Tony Trischka, Bill Keith, Pete Wernick, Alan Munde, Butch Robbins, Jim Mills, Ron Block, Doug Dillard (my metronome ain't that quick) and many many more... dear old Doc. BTW check out Alan's 'I'm looking over a four leaf clover', how sweet is that!!Bluegrass greats.. Tony Rice, Sam Bush... Jerry Douglas must be on just about every album I've got!! .... and Zillions more.Blues heroes from way back include Johnny Winter, Muddy Waters, BB King, Sonny Terry and Brownie Mcgee, Big Bill Broonzy etc. In recent years Vince Lee and the Big Combo have given immense listening/watching enjoyment.Best country rock band ever Lynyrd Skynyrd...'Sweet Home Alabama'. The Eagles, The Byrds, Crosby Stills & Nash, The Everley Bros, Albert Lee are great too... will never forget Buddy Holly, Hank Williams... these guys left us so much in so few years.
