About Me

The New Harvest Bluegrass Band was formed in 2003. The band’s home base is in Indianapolis, Indiana. All of the band members were born, raised and still reside either on the Southside or Eastside of Indy. Their focus on music is in the traditional bluegrass form. To New Harvest, bluegrass music is unique and soulful American music. Their songs consist of tasteful musicianship, solid vocal harmonies and unique lyrical content. During the past 3 years NHBB has continued to gain momentum for their live performances while expanding their fan base. Their diverse fan base ranges from the young “new to bluegrass” to the traditional, loyal fans that bluegrass music will always be known. This along with the loyal following of family and friends allows for an excitingly energized live performance. The one mike set-up often used on stage brings to mind the bluegrass pioneers as well as the living legend performers that continue with this set up. Their willingness to perform at a variety of venues that includes fairs, music halls, local watering holes and bluegrass festivals has helped spread the word of their music. The “Harvheads”, as the loyal following of fans are known, continues to grow with each show.
