SPIRITUAL MACHINE

Spiritual Machine was founded in 2003 by vocalist Scheherazade Stone and producer/songwriter V (keys, guitar, & electronics). In 2004, it's line-up was formed my enlisting some of the Bay Area's premier musicians: Todd Roper (Cake) on drums, Dave MacNab (Shelby Lynn) on guitar, and Jon Evans (Tori Amos, Linda Perry) on bass. Their debut CD "The Static", and the live show supporting it, will establish Spiritual Machine as a potent force on the music scene.With "The Static" Spiritual Machine has achieved a rare combination of power, purpose, and pop perfection. At the center of it all, the sultry and soulful voice of Scheherazade Stone whose artistry will transport any listener into the emotional core of the Spiritual Machine songs.Whether it's the radio-ready, rock single "Whisper", the haunting "Rainy Day Lullaby", or the raw and explosive title track "The Static", Spiritual Machine combines powerful vocals, inspired lyrics and inescapable melodic hooks to create the band's unique retro-future wall of sound.
