Raised on the westside of Birmingham, Maximus was a troubled kid but later learned to channel his energy towards music. He began rapping in the 7th grade. His musical influences were" AZ" and "Outkast" along with Local favorites "R.O.A." and "ATTITUDE". In the 9th grade he met a rap group called the " Black Ballin Mafia" who helped him develope his singing talents. The music they produced together was based on real life situations. Two years later they were seperated. A few guys in the group were charged with armed robbery and were incarcerated. Maximus then decided to leave the streets alone and get a job. He began working at the Birmingham Race Course To make ends meet. There he met Gerald "G-Pistols" Prince, Jakeno "Keno" Crenshaw, James " The Cleaner " Wiggins, and Chris"Ceez"Johnson. He was Later introduced to Carlos" Mr. Bailey" Bailey by G-Pistols. Everyone hit it off instantly. People liked the music they created together so they decided to form the BIG SIX.(est.1998) Big Six Have been doing local shows ever since then creating a name for themselves. In 2003 Maximus was arrested and convicted of armed robbery and kidnapping. Maximus was sentenced to 10 years in prison which was a huge setback. Max was released early on Feb. 21, 2005 and has been making music with hopes of landing a recording contract
