I love art (I mostly sketch and paint, and I love perusing others' works), crafts, music, reading, singing, and dancing. I love exploring history, religion, mythology, and dark lore (vampires, ghosts, werewolves, etc.). I love exploring differences in lifestyle, and exploring my own style, whether that means I "fit in," in my favorite places, or stick out like a sore thumb.
All are welcome here who are open-minded and respectful. Anyone who blatantly advertises in my Comments without permission will be deleted, even if I know them personally. This is your warning. I'll also delete you after a more direct and personal warning if I receive what I consider to be offensively inappropriate comments or messages, and they do not cease after said warning. I prefer that you don't add me just to up your friends count, but it's a free country. For my part, I will only request that someone be my friend if I am interested in something they've posted, or if I actually know them personally or via group.

Moods are the dictators of my musical interests. I like a little of just about everything, because nearly every genre has something to suit some mood of mine or another. The types of music I listen to least are classical, country, r&b, hip-hop, and rap.
Again, nearly every genre has something to offer for me. When it comes to horror I do stick to psychological thrillers and ghost stories and avoid that blood-and-guts drek. Most slasher films have thin plots and go strictly for shock value, and I find them more gross than scary.
My regularly scheduled viewing is pretty much Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, America's Next Top Model, Ghost Hunters (including GH International), and Mad Men. I do enjoy catching certain other shows from time to time, and watching old favorites on DVD, but most weeks I just stick to my regular viewing.
Fantasy (e.g., Lord of the Rings); Horror and Dark Fantasy (Stephen King, The Secret Books of Paradys, The Vampire Chronicles, etc.); Sci-Fi (e.g., the Rowan series); Biographies, particularly of people at psychological extremes (serial criminals, victims of abuse and violent crime, etc.); some other non-fiction, depending on my mood and interests at any given time; poetry; Edgar Allen Poe; William Shakespeare; really anything that can keep my attention. ;p
Anyone who gives of themselves to protect and/or help others. I happen to be priveleged enough to know a few personally.
