Reversion (IN STUDIO)

A progressive metal act, Reversion, hailing from Helsinki, Finland is now setting the new standards of aggressive and experimental metal. Reversions founding duo includes vocalist Aleksi Parviainen and guitarist Samuli Federley. Together they gathered the best possible line-up to execute the wild and furious notes that have since made Reversion known across the underground metal scene of the capital area. The mindstorming brothers in arms are bassist Jaakko Nikko, drummer Toni Paananen and keyboardist Jonne Jauhiainen.
Reversions music could be best described as multilayered, professionally played aggressive, yet melodic, metal with a touch of oriental flavour as well as futuristic sound-effects, combining real-life lyrics that together creates interesting and profound music that appeals to listeners throughout the rock genre.
First seeds of Reversion were sowen back in 2004 and the first seven burning songs were demoed in the fall 2005. Then, after the merciless rehearsing period during the spring and summer of 2006 it was time to record the second demo which was later on sent to various record companies in Finland. The promo gathered interest from numerous record labels and publications. In the beginning of 2007 Reversion recorded their latest two-song promo, Hurt.
Promoing the Hurt and playing great gigs finally paid off as Reversion signed a record deal with Kampas Records. Now it is time for some more gigs and to record an album.
