My Interests

Being nothing if not a product of our times, my interests revolve around binge-drinking and identity theft. There's nowt I like better than spending the night downing more than half the weekly recommended amount of alcoholic units in syrupy evil coloured drinks before tootling down to the video shop to get loads and loads of stuff out in the names of the careless students that live nearby. I often take these films back a day or, as has happened once or twice, two days late resulting in unexpected fines and some corking looks of surprise. If I had a small hand and a beard I would own up.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone off of the telly. And whoever pinched my flip flops. I had to walk round barefoot til I got some new ones. I tell you what, if I ever found them I'd, well, probably do nowt at all if I'm honest. But I'd know, oh I'd know alright...

Paul's birthday message

Well, at midnight last night I turned 27. I was working a night shift so for 5 hours 20 minutes I sat and worked and was never 26 again. It was a beautiful morning as I walked home, the light nights...

Teatime further update

I had pea and ham soup again the other night and it didn't taste of marzipan at all. Not even a hint. This, I believe, is conclusive proof that there was a poisoning attempt made the other week. It...

On the buses...

I've just got the National Express from Billingham to London.  It stunk of piss until somewhere in between Woodford(?) services and Milton Keynes when it started to stink of shit. A bit...

Gardening

I read a gardening section in the paper at work last night (I had to, part of the job) - lots of talk of "uncompromising golden-yellow daisies" and excitement over flowers smelling of chocolate. I li...

Teatime update...

I realised arsenic smells and presumably tastes of marzipan so have left it a couple of days to see if I died. I haven't died yet so the evidence points to me either not having been poisoned or being...

The nightshift

Working nights this week but can't really sleep. I went to bed at 8 this morning but woke up before 12, a bugger really. I laid there for ages trying to sleep, which is the worse thing you can do as...

Walking

I walked up to Charing Cross to buy a book today. It rained a little bit so I got the bus home, but it was a bit warm and close. I wish I'd walked back.

I saw a lad in a yellow tracksuit the other day. I wonder if he realised he was wearing it
