I must present MY body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is My reasonable service.
I've got my mind made up. And i won't turn back, Because i wanna see my Jesus Someday.
The Purpose Of Music:
The Bible recognizes music as a means for praise (Romans 15:9 ), Opening Gates(Acts 16:25), a means of expressing joy (James 5:13),thanksgiving (Psalms 92:1-3, Ephesians 5:19), a means of prayer (1Co 14:15; Psalms 72:20),Warfare (II Chronicles 20:15-22, Isaiah 30:31-32), and a means of teaching and spiritual communication (Col 3:16;). Biblical music makers are professional (I Chronicles 15:22; 25:7; Ezekiel. 33:32), and nonprofessional (Psalms 100; 1Corinthians 14:26; Ephesians 5:19). There are directors of music (Psalms 4:1, 5:1, 6:1, etc. Nehemiah. 12:8) and teachers of music (1Chronicles 15:22). In the bible, music sounded in every aspect of life--work, play, celebration, (Jeremiah 48:33; Matthew 11:17; Luke 15:25; Gen 31:27; Exodus 32:17-18;
Ecclesiastes 2:8).The study of the Psalms shows the role for music in the life of Biblical people. The exaltation of the Lord through music is spoken of as congregational (149:1), individual (42:8) and for every situation (74:21). Music is used to praise God joyfully, loudly (47:1), melodically (98:5), and with a variety of instruments (150:3-5).
