If you fight love you're always a loser.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Carl Barât. Omg.. the voice, the looks.. Some people just got it all. And Noel Fielding. Comments unnecessary.

Music:

Basically everything from the 60's. Contemporary music that sounds like it's from the 60's (like The Pippettes. I just love them!!). Motown soul. Indiepop, britpop. Most tunes played on Virgin Radio and XFM. I also love other genres, like jazz (esp. old jazz, love it when you can hear how old the recordings are. Glen Miller, Chet Baker and Ella Fitzgerald are some of the favourites), worldmusic (esp. salsa, French and East european music with accordion, British/Irish and Scandinavian folk music), reggae, ska, classical music (esp. great symphonies with lots of strings. Tchaikovsky.). Lately, I've given up my resistance against modern electronical pop, and can enjoy some of it. I can even listen to some hiphop, but only if it's a bit reggae like and has good lyrics (Svenska Akademien, Lily Allen..). Can't resist some namedropping.. The Beatles, the Dirty pretty things, the Supremes, the Libertines, Manu Chao, Travis, Frank Sinatra, the Kinks, Oasis, Aretha Franklin, Simon&Garfunkel, Donovan, Håkan Hellström, Marilyn Monroe (great at jazz), the Madness, Evert Taube, the Turtles, Kaizer Chiefs, Hep Stars, Edith Piaf, Franz Ferdinand, Laleh, Shirley Bassey, Owe Thörnqvist, Firefox, Neil Sedaka, the Tough Alliance, the Rat Pack, Mando Diao, Sugarplum Fairy, Povel Ramel, the Hives, the Hollies, the Strokes, the Killers, the Searchers, the Cure, the Smiths, Hot Chip, Supergrass,....

Movies:

Old black and white movies! Movies that take place in history. Psycho, Amelie from Montmartre, Cabaret, Monthy Pyton-the search for the holy grale, It's a wonderful life... I think you should watch more movies from other countries than GB and USA, they often have a different style.

Television:

The Mighty Boosh (brilliant!!), That 70's show (also brilliant!), British thrillers, Faulty Towers, Coupling, Michael Moore, Sex and the city, the OC, Lost, Ally McBeal (I know, but admit she's fun), interesting documentaries, the news.. Btw, dont really watch much TV.

Books:

I read a lot. Old Brithish detective stories are great, like things by Agatha Christie, Dorothy Sayers, Conan Doyle... Harry Potter (I know I'm 20, but I can't help it. Rowling, you got me under your spell).

Heroes:

Jane Goodall: the British woman who went to Africa to study baboons and now is doing amazing work to help saving them.
