Sweet As It Gets!

About Me

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

Just as Andre 3000 would say, HEEEY YAAAA! how are you guys doing? I am loving the content of this site so thought I'd hop on the bandwagon and strutt too. I'm looking for friends and people I can learn from and vise versa. Writing is my passion especially when I'm getting others to meet or at least getting people to read about each other in my articals for Ya'Heard Magazine. Local talent is my target market especially in Wichita. There is so much talent here it's BANANAS! Ya'll, we left the cattle and buggies to the people in Yoder, Kansas ya dig! We're just not on the map fast enough....Uhhh lets see.... I have this new respect for music now. Before, I would just "hear" it and go on about my business. Now that I'm older and experienced a bunch of BS, music indeed soothes the sabbage beast! If it'd never exist, I don't know where I'd be. I enjoy music that provides substance; music that goes beyond the physical and superficial realm- don't get me wrong I love entertainment- but when it's time to wind down, to really think or to get the mood started, It's time for someone who knows how to keep you running back to that "repeat" button wearing that part of the CD out; somebody who knows what to say from the verse to the hook with the right melody . Somebody like Jill Scott, Bilal, D'Angelo, Kelly Price, Mint Condition, H-Town, Jodeci, Laurin Hill, LSG, Johnny Gill, Erica Badu, John Legend has a couple of cuts on his new CD like "Slow Dance" and "Again", Jamie Foxx, Rapheal Saadiq, India.Irie, KhorisAntone, Black Jackson, just to name a few. These people keep me calm get me through the day and inspired to press on.

My Interests

I'm always interested in finding ways to be able work less or not at all and earn more.

Music:

I would listen to Neo-Soul I call it "poetry with melody" before hip-hop but I'd rather listen to local music because I crave originality and listening to something spankin brand new and non-existing to everyone else is like meeting a new born baby. Being one of the first to hear what it sounds like, the first to see what the CD looks like, first comments, compliments, complaints and.... bragging rights being able to say, "Aww that CD old, I been had dat!" and on to the next best thing. It also sparks curiosity; I wonder what goes on in these artists' head with these songs some of them be tight as hell. And as I've said before, local artists are my target market so if you're looking for some publicity and a little more exposure, holla at me!

Movies:

Legal-suspense or drama-suspence movies. I like movies that'll make me think or figure out a mystery or movies with a twist like Unbreakable, The Others, SAW I and II, Final Destination I, II and III, Time To Kill, Primal Fear, Oceans Eleven and Twelve, Entrapment, Thomas Crown Affair. I like comedic movies as well such as Van Wilder, How High, All About The Benjamins, Duce Bigolo, Austin Powers...just to name a few. I also like horror movies, the ones that are not predictable

Television:

Reality TV shows are great! They provide to greatest opportuninty to learn from everyone else's mistakes because we don't live long enough to make them all.UH OHHH KALIS BETTA WATCH OUT! THIS CHICK IS CHONKEY LOL!Chunky
