We're Gonch, coming from a Malay word, "goncang", meaning shake.
And as the name suggests, we're out to shake your heads up with our brand of alternative-blues-hard rock-piano rock! Over the years (2 years in fact!), we have gone through ups and downs and hiatuses, but now, we are back as one. We are undergoing stylistic changes over time, gaining new influences and learning to be better with instruments.
For now, we are coming up with new materials, marking the end of our hiatus. We are now focusing on quality of the music. Yep, no more cheapskate lousy recordings off laptops and mp3 player microphones. Think of it as 'amateur studio recording'.
