I'm 21 years old.. a guitarist, or a musician I guess but guitar is my main instrument. Right now I'm looking for a band.. It's very hard to find people with the same ideas or atleast similar ones. If you're a London musician looking to form a band, and think my music is interesting, please get in touch :) I've written a lot of songs, but I've only recorded the least complicated ones since I still don't know how everything on the recording equipment works. There's so much I want to do, but the manual is trying to kill me.
So.. the songs:
Santa, please, I want a little Monster
I wrote this in June actually.. I was trying to record one of my songs, but I kept getting stuck. I felt like it was all getting too serious, and needed to do something light and fun and a bit crazy. SO I just thought, fuck it I'll write a christmas song.
Alternative Endings
Equipment: Ovation acoustic, Fender strat, Vox amp. I don't really like to write what my songs are about, just read the lyrics, listen to it, and try to figure it out for yourself. OR decide for yourself even :)
The Devil felt so much Pride
I wrote this when I got my Ovation acoustic. I also use my mandolin a bit, and my Marshall amp and strat :)
Freak Out...
... is NOT a happy song. sort of wrote it instead of going to see a shrink. I use my strat and my Marshall amp.
Illustrating Death
I put a DiMarzio PAF pickup in my Fatstrat, and this is the result :) I've been working with this song for sooooo long cause I had to leave it for awhile a couple of weeks ago when it freaked me out.. in a very weird way.. anyways it's mostly me, my fatstrat and my Marshall :)
Broken Thoughts
This is a pretty old song, but I discovered you could upload more than 4 songs now so I put it back up. I wrote it when I got my Ramon Garcia Angelina guitar. I'd never had a nylon stringed guitar before and the sound was so amazingly beautiful that writing was pretty easy.
I had to take Repentance and Appreciation down when I put up The Devil song, cause I always remove the one that's been up there the longest time.. I know that song is the one most people like the most :p sorry.. but if you want it just shout and I'll send it. Same goes for my other songs.
