Mihkku Tostrup was born in Alta, Norway 18 January 1984. His love for music came in his early ages when he listened to it almost every time. His big influences for music were Mari Boine, Michael Jackson and Ace of Base but as the years faded so did his taste. He stopped at many artist such as 2 Unlimited, Capella, Rednex, Captain Jack, but he’s likes for the more underground music style didn’t came before he found inspiration from another popular artist named Sash!. At 15years of age he learned how to put two and two songs together to form a mix and he started to exploit the possibilities in his new discovered talents.
Cre8or was a fact in 1999 but after some problems in 2001, Mihkku decided to close down the project. In 2005 the project was reborn and Cre8or was once more hitting the clubs in Europe, but it wasn’t before 2006 that Norway discovered his talents. Now making huge impact on the dance floor with his energetic and various styles of mixing Cre8or is truly making progress in the world of the DJ’s.
Now working hard on getting trance back to the clubs in Norway, Mihkku has focused a lot of energy into the Norwegian club-scene. Starting up “Under The Sun†event and booking djs to clubs is just the start of a old dream come true.
In 2007 Mihkku started to work as a booking manager for VIBE-Management runned by Jan de Vos from 4 strings. Working as a DJ, promoter, coordinator and as a manager, Mihkku is truly one of the most flexible guys in the industry.
