About Me

Alley's Animals is a 100% non-profit, all volunteer organization committed to decreasing the pet overpopulation problem by providing affordable spay/neuter services to all through vouchers to defray veterinary costs.Alleys Animals Spay/Neuter Fund was founded by Alison Florucci in late 2005. Alison has worked with animals for quit a few years. She started volunteering at Addison County Humane Society socializing cats and walking dogs. After two years there she began volunteering every Saturday at Green Mountain Animals Defenders Cat Spay/Neuter Clinic becoming trained as a Veterinary Technician. Although she still volunteers with GMAD, Alison felt she needed to do more. Alleys Animals was the fruit of this desire to go above and beyond to help pets.Alleys Animals mission is to provide anyone who is interested in spaying/neutering their pet with the funds to do just that. Our all volunteer Board of Directors and Friends work tirelessly raising funds to help animals. Spay/neuter costs continue rising each year. Each year more and more people can not find this money within their budget. If unaltered, one animal can bring hundreds of unwanted young into the world in its life time. Each year millions of animals are euthanized for no other reason then they have no home. We need to come together and stop this useless waste of life.
