A Rock & Roll Call To Arms!

About Me

The Blizzard of 78 grabbed 3 awards from this years Motif Magazine readers poll. Alt-Rock Band of the Year, Alt-Rock Album of the Year and Alt-Rock Best Male Vocalist Read Motif's kind words here
Killing Floor Records was born when mad producer/engineer Chris Cugini realized that some great records were being made at his Killing Floor Studio (previously known as Appleman). It seemed to make perfect sense that there would be an indie label attached to the studio as an outlet for some of these great records beginning with Chris's own band The Blizzard Of 78. The Blizzard's Where All Life Hangs was released in June of 2006 to much critical acclaim.
Cugini recorded The Shods' Bamboozled, Hornswoggled, Jilted + Hoodwinked which was voted best indie record in the 1998 Boston Phoenix Music Poll. Shods leader Kevin P. Stevenson recently decided that Killing Floor would be a comfortable home for The Shods catalog to reside in the digital domain so we've put em' out to the digital world starting with Bamboozled, then the great Tim O'heir production Stop Crying which are both available at iTunes now!. Now, the last Shods CD, Tippy, is available at iTunes and most other digital retailers worldwide. It features a crushing cover of Them's Here Comes The Night. We'll have the link up soon.
Another cool release is the single Silicone On Sapphire by The Blizzard Of 78 featuring Mikey Dread that is also included on The Sandinista Project which comes out now on 00:02:59 Records. We've just released it as a digital single and it's available now at iTunes and other downloading spots. See the link below.
We've also got records by Delta Clutch and Anastasia Screamed that are available for download now at iTunes etc...
More rock coming soon! Look for the smashing new Blizzard of 78 CD in the spring of 2008.
