Miss Sasha

If only we carried rocks instead of cameras, we’d look like revolutionaries.

About Me

Dorkalicious. San Franciscan by birth; Brooklyn girl at heart. A Salva-Ruskey who is perfectly comfortable with consulting the Magic Eight Ball when in crisis. Naturally nocturnal, but currently required to live in the 9-to-5 world. I’ve graduated from eating Top Ramen to being able to afford ramen noodle dishes in restaurants.
I like words--cantankerous, lugubrious, squalor, and ardor, for instance--and spend a lot of time trying to put such words into sentences, paragraphs, and pages. My reliance on Post-it notes borders on unhealthy. I’m also really frustrated by the fact that text message fonts don’t allow me to both open and close quotations.
Born left-handed, but forced to use my right. I have high standards, believe in give and take, and am pretty much incapable of walking in flip-flops. I’ve been hit by a car twice; and even though I’m now fully aware of the consequences, I still have a tendency to walk into oncoming traffic if I see something across the street that I really, really want.

My Interests

carrier pigeons, multiples of 3 and all instances of the number 9, pineapple, reading and attempting to write good sentences, bookbinding, artists' books, relearning piano, mango and sticky rice, only children, duende, surrogate family, the container store as an OCD trigger, Laundry Hat!, cheliciosity, coconut ice cream, the orgasm continuum, DIY education, the many flavors of bdsm, music, madrid, hands, iceland, and charting human behavioral patterns on Styrofoam take-out containers:
