I love things like this:

I'm a biology major and things like Tardigrades (Waterbears) are just facinating! I also just love animals, if you couldn't tell by all the pictures of my pets. I've had quite a few interesting ones in the past. And I'm sure there are many more to come =P If you have questions about rats, sugar gliders, wild birds (doves and pigeons), dogs, frogs, or salamanders, I'm your gal. As much as I love science and biology, I hate math...

I'm an advocate of RESEARCHING about any animal you plan to get BEFORE you get it. Yeah, I know, a lot of these animals like small amphibians and snakes are impulse buys, but RESIST! Too many people bring home an animal, then have no idea what to do with it, or how to take care of it, and unfortunately, many of these animals end up dying because of poor husbandry or they are abandoned. I admit, when I saw my little Ginui, I wanted him right away, but I went home first, researched salamanders, came back a week later and bought him, and I realized there was STILL a ton I didn't know! Animals are amazing. Don't mistreat them.

Oh, something else I am an advocate of, legalizing industrial hemp and medical marijuana. Hemp can be used for SO many useful things, and can help save our environment. Medical marijuana can legitimately help with the pain that glaucomics and those with multiple sclerosis, as well as other ailments, have to cope with every day. I also don't think students should have their financial aid taken away if they get caught with marijuana. I mean, students who COMMIT RAPE can come back to school and STILL get financial aid!! That's so messed up, in my opinion... I think tobacco should be the illegal drug here... If you want to know more about why I feel this way about marijuana, or if you would like to be informed on all the amazing uses for hemp, just ask. Also, you may want to visit NORML if you are interested in this cause at all. Oh, also, those hemp waffles from the publix greenwise section- really good!!

Now that I'm done with that rant... I'm a gamer, mostly RPGs and Strategy/Puzzle games. I get pretty addicted to MMORPGs. I'm a recovering EQ addict, I've had a few relapses, most recently I played EQ2 on the Blackburrow server. My name is Crystallynn . But I quit a bit ago because my harddrive got fried, and I never reactivated the account.My most recent mmorpg is LOTRO. Check the update below for my status on that.Before that, I played a FREE mmorpg, Last Chaos . It's a pretty decent mmo, but bro quit playing with me so I didn't wanna play anymore. Before that, I was playing PSU (Phantasy Star Universe) on the PS2. I just didn't have time, and I found myself paying for 4 months and I hadn't even played. I ended up cancelling my account so I could try out Vanguard , unfortunately my computer was not amazing enough to handle such an intense game. I have a new computer now, and I COULD play it, however, I have Lotro now. Further back than that, I tried out FFXI on the Titan Server. (Christine's fault). I was playing WoW for a while... I went into EB to drop off my paperwork, and ended up coming home with it... Peer pressure!!! Don't blame me!! Everyone I work with started a chara on a new server (Black Dragonflight), and started up a guild... So Christine convinced me, that bitch, to get the damn game... Wasn't I going to try to MAKE money at EB? Shit. At any rate, I quit playing because my coworkers all have main charas on other servers, and they weren't playing with me, so I wasn't having any fun playing alone. Just before playing WoW, I ended the age of ROSE . It was a fun, cute little game, impossible to get angry over anything; how can you be pissed when a cute little fox with a knife just kicked your ass? But I had no one to play with because my bro quit. I've played Star Wars Galaxies , EVE , City of Heroes . I've played other .. games such as Redmoon, Starcraft , Diablo 2 , Neverwinter Nights , Guild Wars , and a few others. Don't get the wrong idea though, I play plenty of offline games as well. May I recomend to anyone who likes RPGs... OBLIVION , it's a pretty good game, as long as you don't choose to be a magic user. As my coworker put it, it's Grand Theft Auto, except in midevil times on horseback. It's really pretty good though. Just take my advice and either be a thief or an archer, or both. Warrior class is good too. Just don't be a main magic user or you will die WAY too quickly. As for other great PC games: Black and White 1 and 2 , The Sims 1 and 2 , I used to be big into Creatures 1, 2, and 3 (The one with the Norns!), Catz and Dogz , many simulation games in general, rts games like Tiberian Sun and other Command and Conquer games.. I'm pretty stoked for Spore coming out in the fall.. Hmm, I guess those are all computer games, but I play on the PS2 and Gamecube as well; Harvest Moon games, Pikman , Animal Crossing , all the FF games... I HATE the XBOX.

UPDATE, 8/31/07: I am now playing Lord of the Rings Online. I am Crystallynn , of course, lvl 50 Lore Master on the Vilya server. Look me up!

Oh, and a couple of pet peeves... SOME (not all) spelling and grammatical errors just tend to glare at me... If you notice a typo, let me know ;) For example, the wrong usage of there, they're, and their bugs me. I know, weird, but whatever... Also, I hate it when people try to add me and don't bother to try and talk to me first. I AM NOT A FRIEND WHORE!!! Tons of requests from bands also annoy me. Grrr.. I don't mean to be a bitch, but seriously...
