About Me

Everything important is inevitably cliche, so really none of this matters. But I do enjoy talking about myself, so here goes: I've always been somewhere in the middle of everything. I'd like to know as much as possible about as much as possible- although I am not at all interested in things that are too possible. I'm a walking contradiction. I'm ridiculously indecisive. I also can be a bit of hypocrite. I lose everything and am a little obnoxious. My mind is filled with useless movie trivia. I enjoy the company of lunatics. Id like to meet more dreamers, and I'd like to take more trips. I have about 100 bottles of half full waters in my car. I talk a lot. I need constant change. Moving cars calm me down. My photographs are my most important possessions. I'm getting over what other people think about me. I easily zone out. I smile alot and smoke half cigarettes. I have a strange appreciation for little things. I enjoy a good breeze and perfect lighting. I am oddly observant. I get nostalgic often. The rain makes me smile. Im obsessed with anything old. I have a pretty ridiculous thrift store addiction. Im rather clumsy. I wear strange clothes in strange colors. I dont like olives. I do bad impressions. Im infatuated with River Phoenix and I dont really know why. I read books over and over again. I like: spontaneous road trips, big white sunglasses and 2 buck chuck. I do not like: the desert, celine dion or pine nuts. I enjoy noise. I read into things way too much, but mostly Im just psychic. I'm constantly curious. I dont take myself very seriously. I like beer. I hate to fight. I get bored easily. I wish my mom made me learn the piano. Im a pop culture whore. I have a hard time not saying whats on my mind. I am fascinated with understanding people on an individual basis. I have incurable wanderlust. I am an only child- this explains a lot. I like to have midnight marathon conversations with intelligent, creative people. I adore board games, polka dots, and the goodwill. I intensely appreciate honesty. For a while in the late 80's my career goal was to be a fly girl on in living color...I have a love/hate relationship with people in general. Passion is a beautiful trait. Id like to meet folks that notice the subtleties. I need more stories. Also, This sums me up pretty well:

My Interests

After casually hanging around me maybe 5 times or so- a lovely person (or rather a very crude, offensive person with whom I sadly relate and semi adore) wrote this eloquent character depiction of me that I thought I would share, seeing as we are at least fifty percent perception...percieve what you will:"Hi, my name is Christina. I deliberately prefaced my myspace name with an uneducated pause, in hopes that you will perceive me as a vacuous, So-Cal ninnie. Nothing could be further from the truth, as I will carve you to bits at the slightest whiff of an intellectual challenge. I'm a strong believer in hipster apparel, particularly t-shirts promoting obsolete brands of orange soda. I don't really have any female friends, mainly because my every utterance is formulated to produce a feeling of inadequacy to the uninitiated conversation participant. I'm an unwilling runner on an endless treadmill of male friends. I need their recognition, for without it, I shall surely succumb to my own insecurities about finding the right man. I play my own game of Monopoly on a board of sarcasm and wit. Every time I pass "GO", I collect $200 of your pathetic shortcomings." oh, and i like sushi.
