Greasehead

Guess I picked the wrong day to quit sniffin glue

About Me

My name is Christian Sands and I'm Greasehead. Yes, there is no band. I sing, play guitar, bass, drums (though lately I've been favoring my cajon and hand percussion over the full-on drum kit), and record it myself using a fantastic program from Sony called Acid Pro. Not that I'm trying to pitch Sony here, but damn, they do have some good and affordable stuff for the home recording artist. I started recording the roots-country material as Greasehead in 2001 and it's stuck with me since then. I'm on my sixth album of wonderful and original material about zombies, drinking, death, love, and everything in between; but the only one that you, the average consumer, can get at this point is "Scars" (unless you know me). That's on iTunes, Rhapsody, and some other digital retailer sites that I hadn't even heard of until I Googled "Greasehead" one day. At any rate, it's out there. CD Baby also has hard copies of the disc that are handmade by me and totally awesome, which is cool if you're like me and have to have the physical album as opposed to just downloading it. What the hell though, it's cheaper on iTunes. I'm done writing and recording for a while to work on releasing the "Zombie Zombie" album, and until then, you can check out some of the songs from it on my page. You may even be lucky enough to catch a live show, but I don't play out very often, so if you hear about a show, go! It may be your only chance! Otherwise, thanks for listening. I love you.Created with mySpace Profile Editor
