Mr. Soulless

The future's no place for you.

About Me

I work in high-tech to support my career as a fiction writer.

I love doing things I'm terrible at (e.g. shaking my money maker to Goth/Industrial/"Rave" music, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis). And I'm always eager to try new things that I'll inevitably be terrible at (so long as the activity doesn't harm me or others; my Industrial stomping comes close).

I relish traveling, from short weekend jaunts to months/years-long working vacations.

My Interests

* Life’s passion: Writing. (Out of the dozen short stories I’ve submitted to magazines, I managed to get one published. Just finished the first draft of my 325 page novel. Now time to edit, edit, and, edit.)

* Misc.: Physics (Cosmology), History, Politics

I'd like to meet:

You! (Unless you're a butthead...)

Music:

On my shelf: ABBA, Apop Berzerk, Assemblage 23, DJ Brian (of Hard Desert Trance fame), Nick Cave, Richard Cheese, Collide, Covenant, The Creatures, Delirium, Depeche Mode, Danny Elfman, Eminem, Faith and the Muse, Tom Jones, Miranda July, Marilyn Manson, Dean Martin, Massiv In Mensch, NIN, Sinead O’Connor, Oingo Boingo, The Orb, Pink Floyd, Prince, The Police, Portishead, Roxette, Frank Sinatra, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, Snake River Conspiracy, Stereo Total, The Sugarcubes, Switchblade Symphony, VNV Nation, Wall of Voodoo, Wolfsheim, Wumpscut, various Ambient, Goth, Industrial, New Wave compilations and Trance/House mixes.

Thanks, Armi!

Anything with Audrey Hepburn. Anything by James Cameron or Sam Raimi.
