Dreadlock Tales is a dub group from Helsinki, Finland. The collective
was found in 1999 as a studio project to record roots dub reggae.
Today DLT sound is dub steppers / Ambience with an echo of psychedelia and roots.
Machines combined with instruments.
Though the project was supposed to stay in the studio, something happened
and over 60 shows have been performed in past few years including in
Sweden, Russia, U.K. and Lithuania. Warming up the stage succesfully for Shpongle and Hallucinogen(UK), Channel One Soundsystem(JAM/UK), Hidria Spacefolk(FI), MIR-O(FI), C-P-C(RU). Honored to Play in parties with projects like: Cosmosis(UK), Eat Static(UK), SWA(RU), Kindzadza(RU), Ole Lukoya(RU), Deviant Species(UK), Healing of the Nation(FI), Syntax Error(DEN), Derango(SWE), JahBo(SWE), EvsY(FI), Haltya(FI), S.U.N Project (DEN), Yggdrasil(SWE).. In some nice Open air festivals like:
Konemetsa (fi) 2005 & 2006, Faces festival (fi) 2006 & 2007, Space of Joy at black sea (ru) 2005 and the most spiritually charged festival Yaga Gathering in the forest of Lithuania 2007
You can find DLT dubbin` in Open air Festivals. Reggae clubs, psy parties, forest
gatherings.... wherever the people are free.
