About Me

"I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to reach my destination." (found on roll of Sparkle paper towels)
Your Dominant Intelligence is Logical-Mathematical Intelligence
You are great at finding patterns and relationships between things.
Always curious about how things work, you love to set up experiments.
You need for the world to make sense - and are good at making sense of it.
You have a head for numbers and math ... and you can solve almost any logic puzzle.
You would make a great scientist, engineer, computer programmer, researcher, accountant, or mathematician. What Kind of Intelligence Do You Have?
I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Cambodia and Bangkok in March.
Your Taste in Music:

My Interests

Crafting, Reading, Traveling, all things music.

Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team. Getting David Beckham is not worth losing Kevin Hartman (and now Tyrone Marshall), but no one listened to me.

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people, music lovers, book lovers, travelers, people with a story to share. Please don't send me blind friend/fan requests. I'm not here to accumulate a huge friend list. Drop me a note to let me know why you want to be my friend, what we have in common. See what bands I like and decide if you might fit those genres. (For example, you won't find rap and hip hop and country artists in my friends list.)

Music:

Folio, Blaqk Audio,Duran Duran, Kill Hannah, Yellowcard, Boy Kill Boy, Mighty 690, 30 Seconds to Mars, My Chemical Romance, etc. Celtic Music. 80's music rocks!

Movies:

Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Princess Bride, This is Spinal Tap, Cinema Paradiso, Wallace & Grommit, and Wizard of Oz are some of my favorite movies of all time. I also like the classics.

This is hilarious-- a mash-up of the Holy Grail and Star Trek.

Television:

These days I'm enjoying Doctor Who, Torchwood, Heroes, Eureka, Psych, Burn Notice, Moonlight, My Name is Earl, Chuck, Reaper, Lost, Jericho, Medium, Criminal Minds, Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, and more. Thank goodness for Tivo.

Books:

Fiction: Richard Preston, Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child (solo or joint work, especially the Pendergast books), Dean Koontz (older is better), Anne Rice (vampire novels), Dan Brown, Steve Berry, James Rollins.
Non-fiction: I love the books that cover the history of every-day life, and the real history which is contrary to what we all "know" or have been taught.
