NEW BELPID REC COMPILATION OUT NOW!

About Me

OUT NOW: "AN UTMOST FRIENDLY BELPID COMPILATION 2008" featuring two previously unreleased songs: "Something to get me out of the bed" and "Treat you right", together with songs by other swell Belpid artists. Release-party and gig was held at Stampen in Stockholm May 27."Stellan played with the garage-rock band THE WYLDE MAMMOTHS, releasing albums on Crypt Records and touring all over Europe and in the US. He went on to form Stellan Wahlström Drift Band and released the singles "Gör det fort" and "Går igen" (in Swedish!). In the mid-90's he moved to New York and recorded the album "TIME LEAVES YOU BEHIND", as well as doing plenty of live gigs at places like CBGB's, Sidewalk and Continental. Now back in Sweden he has reformed the Drift Band and released the ep "So this is what the end looks like", followed by the new album "THE EXCITABLE GIFT", where lots of piano, acoustic guitar, violin and an electric Hagström 12-string can be heard on the warm-sounding analogue recording. Right now the band is busy in Cobra Studio in Stockholm recording new songs. Keep a close watch for new songs right here."
