Vital Sounds is a recording studio located in Uptown New Orleans, Louisiana. It is a student-run studio in partnership with Loyola University.
Vital Sounds features great equipment, talented young engineers, and great value.

Vital Sounds features the following rates:
$50/Hour for commercial sessions
$40/Hour for Loyola University Faculty, Staff and Alumni
$25/Hour for Loyola University Students
$400/Day for 12 hour day, lockout. Only available during university holidays. $50/Hour applies for time over 12 hours.
$10/Hour additional fee for use of adjacent large ensemble rooms.
$110 fee for piano tuning, upon request.

* Apogee AD-16X and DA-16X Conversion and Digidesign HD192 Conversion with Apogee Big Ben clocking.
* Preamplifiers: Focusrite Platinum and Red series, API, Drawmer
* Genelec 8040A and Yamaha NS10m monitoring. Auratone monitoring also available.
* Digidesign/Focusrite Control|24 mixing control surface
* AES/EBU grade cabling and patchbays
* Headphone monitoring using Hear Technologies Hearback system
* Headphones by Direct Sound, Sony, Fostex, and Vic Firth
* Power Conditioning by Furman and Aris
* Tascam DA88 and Alesis HD24 for transfers
* Glyph GT series storage

2 Large ensemble tracking rooms with live acoustics (extra hourly surcharge applies)
1 600 person capacity performance hall with live acoustics (extra hourly surcharge applies)
