Knife in Christ was formed in 2002 by Ludvig Johansson (guitar), David Ekevärn (drums)
and Henrik Boman (vocals) from the ashes of various
death and black metal bands. Later on Ronnie
Björnström (Embracing) joined the band on
guitar. After some off and on writing the band
recorded a 4 song demo in 2003 and played a gig
with Naglfar and Necrophobic later that year.
The bass on that gig was handled by Mattias
Appelvik (Reveria).
After 3 years of struggling to find devoted
members and some more off and on writing, the
band entered Sweet tone (now Septic sound)
studios in november 2006 to record 3 new songs
and re-record an old one.
